Nature hike, THE FLYING SQUIRREL, to Nuuksio national park.

Did you know that the flying squirrel is the badge of Nuuksio national park? Hard to find and few have seen but we know that they still live strongly inside the park.

Choose a little bit longer track and see more nature in Nuuksio. During this trip we go through rocky areas as well as we walk beside two cute forest ponds.  you will hear stories about the Nuuksio's  flora and fauna, history and future.  The path goes up and down which is typical for Nuuksio environment but you will get a good idea why we have a national park in here. 

The length of journey is about 6,5km and it consists of wider footpath and narrow path. Most time of the year these paths are in good condition. However, there can be few wet points when go over small swamps  so it is recommended to wear good walking shoes. 

If you find your fitness like normal healthy person, this hike is an excellent choice for you who wants to catch a glimpse of the real Nuuksio in short time. Come join us and enjoy!
